Measles is a highly contagious viral disease that causes a distinctive rash, high fever, cough, runny nose, and watery eyes. It can lead to serious complications such as middle ear infections, pneumonia (lung infection), encephalitis (inflammation of the brain), hearing loss, brain damage, and even death.
Mumps is a viral infection that typically causes fever, headache, earache, and painful swelling of the salivary glands in the mouth and neck. Complications may include encephalitis, temporary or permanent hearing loss, and inflammation of the ovaries or testes, which can lead to infertility.
Rubella (German Measles) is a viral illness marked by fever, rash, swollen neck glands, and painful joint swelling. It may also cause bruising and bleeding. If contracted during pregnancy, rubella poses a severe risk to the unborn child, potentially leading to congenital rubella syndrome.
